Logistician Vacancy

Responsibilities:

1. Arranging of receiving goods from a supplier and delivering goods to the client.
2. Working with forwarding and logistics companies inside and outside the Democratic Republic of Congo.
3. Working with a customs agent and customs services of the republic.
4. Arranging customs clearance of goods (including, but not limited to, registration of a banking license, certificates of conformity and other documents for each consignment of goods).
5. Controlling and tracking goods along the entire logistics chain of movement from supplier to client.
6. Handling support documentation and necessary reporting.
7. Executing director’s orders.

 

Requirements for a candidate:

1. Higher education.
2. Work experience as a logistics specialist or in transport and logistics company / service.
3. Experienced PC user.
4. Special software user.
5. English speaker.
6. Familiar with INCOTERMS rules and regulations.
7. Familiar with the customs legislation of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
